"The happiest people don't have the best of everything.
I came across this little quote and I cannot agree more. No matter how rich, beautiful, famous and admired by others we are, we never can be happy if we don't have happiness within us, if we don't embrace life and take joy in the simplest things. I remember when I was a boy I didn't have fancy toys but with a bit of imagination I and my friends were using every-day objects or even things that other people considered as rubbish to make useful toys. Just playing with the bottle cup used as a ball to kick was an excellent and such a joyful game. And sometimes you see kids surrounded by toys and being bored easily with every new toy and not enjoying themselves. You see beautiful and famous people being depressed and unhappy, getting into alcoholism and drugs. You can have everything other people dream of and you still can be miserable. So instead of being sad about what you don't have, what you are not, enjoy who you are, what you have and make the most of it, go through life with smile and joy and good things will happen to you. I am not young anymore, I have lots of health problems, I am facing difficult choices and I was put through a lot in my life, but still I am very grateful for good people around me, when I see a person on the wheelchair I am grateful I can walk. I am grateful that you are somewhere out there and although I cannot see you now I am hopeful that you will contact me some day. I look for good things in life and this way I can enjoy it and make the best of everything I have.
