You may find this hard to believe but I really believe that plants have feeling and they respond to love and care.
You might have heard of some people being referred to as having 'green tumb'. It doesn't mean literally that their thumbs are green (unless they are aliens -:) ) - it means that the plants under their care are always beautiful, blumming and look healthy. And I think it is because they not only water their plants but also they care for the plants.
I have a friend called Carlo, who sometimes talks to his plants. Obviously he does not communicate with them as plants can not talk back to him and they don't understand what he is saying, but somehow Carlo's plants are growing healthy, green and strong and I believe it is because they feel his care.
I myself do not claim to understand the exact nature of how it is possible, however in my life I have witnessed several occasions of unusual or extraordinary occourancies and have learned not to dismiss any idea because I do not understand it or can not explain it. One morning when I got up I found the plant almost dead. My first diagnosis was that we have not been watering it as often as we should have. On the second thought I found it strange that it was ok at night and died in a matter of few hours!
Three years ago on my birthday Anna gave me a small pot of flower. This flowers usually last for a month or two, but it has survived so far for over 30-months.
I cared for this flower and when I was watering it or passing by it I was looking at it, sometimes touching it with care and sometimes was thinking about it.
A plant has flowered several times so far and many times have grown new leaves, and even now has grown new leaves.
