Dear Atria, Which hat suits me better? What do you think? If you think that I am crazy, don’t worry, I am not planning on buying any of them. I just tried them on totally for fun when Anna was looking for a hat. This is a very small event, did not require any resources, but I was laughing looking at myself and I felt joyful. I think sometimes it is good just to make fun of yourself and don’t treat yourself too seriously. Life is full of problems and challenges, nothing is ideal and nobody is perfect, so if we would worry about it all the time and expect perfection we would have been very miserable. Some of us actually are. But if you look at yourself and your life with a bit of humour all seems to be easier. Loosening up a little will free you from many worries. If you take life too seriously and never have the give or flexibility to see the funnier side of things that happen to you or you can’t be a bit goofy now and then, it’s probable you will be easily upset and hurt. Accept that you’re only human and that you will make mistakes and that you will learn from them if you allow yourself to. Life isn’t a perfection contest but treating as such can severely hamper your enjoyment of living. Allow yourself to have a sense of humor. And let it rip. When others say hurtful things to you, laugh and tell them you already know and because you know yourself well. Appreciate things life gave you – and remember that nobody is perfect. I hope you are happy, free, bubbly and filled with good believes about life. It can be very beautiful if you feel good about it. |
