Dear Atria, have you heard a saying that ‘The world belongs to the brave ones’? I think there is a lot of true in this saying and being open-minded, taking opportunities in spite of our fear from failure and pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone is the way to succeed, improve and achieve. We will probably fail many times on the way and this will make as feel bad, but as long as we don’t dwell on this failure, but learn from it, we will finally meet our goals and achieve what we want in life. We surely will not achieve anything if we never try. I believe that the world belongs to the brave ones.
I don’t know if you remember our friend Jana from my previous posts? She left her job in UK to travel to New Zealand and after a wonderful year of working there and exploring spectacular and beautiful nature of New Zealand, she came back with a ‘bag of experience’ and she decided to apply for a job as an Air Hostess. There is a lot of competition for this sort of jobs, especially if you want to work for a good airlines . You not only need to speak many languages, but also you need University degree, you need to be intelligent and friendly, good looking and be able to respond promptly and appropriately in any emergency situation that may arise. But Jana worked hard to meet all the criteria and guess what, she got a job and after 8 weeks of very hard training (in German!) she is a fully qualified Air Hostess working for Austrian Airlines. Both I and Anna are very proud of her and she sets up a good example showing that if you are brave, if you try and work towards your goals you can achieve whatever you want in life. Do you know at this stage in your life what would you like to do in future? Do you have any dream job or hobby you would like to pursue?
