Last Saturday Baba, I and Anna went to visit Cotswold Wildlife Park. I have already told you a little bit about this place and indeed, it is a beautiful one. Although there was no sunshine the day was quite warm, so we took advantage of the weather and we spent almost the whole day in the park. We walked a lot trough beautiful gardens and we watched animals living in the park. Many of them were outside enjoying the weather like us. What I like about Cotswold is the fact that most of the animals have really large outside spaces to run around and play. It gives them more freedom than in the ordinary ZOO. The whole park is located on about 160 acres land, so it is a really great area to walk and enjoy. It feels open and spacious. Below you can see the map of the whole place.
There is a manor house in the middle of the park and you can see very unusual scenery - a manor house in the background, rhinos and zebras in the foreground - a beautiful view.
Baba likes walking and he enjoyed our trip very much. He is in a very good condition and feels much better in England thank in Iran, as the air here is not polluted like in Iran, where he has serious problems with breathing. I would like Baba and your Grandma to move over to England, it would be much better for their wellbeing.
Coming back to the park... we saw a lot of zebras, camels, rhinos, huge turtles, lions, monkeys, meerkats, prairie dogs, wolfs, tapirs, capybaras, wallabies, pandas, mongooses, lots of different birds, snakes, bats and many other interesting animals.
If you are an animal lover, and I believe you are, you will love this place. I hope we can visit it together some time like I visited it now with my Dad. These moments and memories are very precious and no one can take them away from us. They stay with us forever.
