"One of the most tragic things I know about human nature is that all of us tend to put off living. We are all dreaming of some magical rose garden over the horizon - instead of enjoying the roses blooming outside our windows today."
I hope you are 'enjoying the roses blooming outside your window'. I hope you are grateful for who you are, how beautiful and clever you are, that you have Mum and other Family who love you very much, Dad who is not allowed to be by your side, but cares for you and thinks about you all the time; you are healthy and I am sure you have many friends – the whole life is in front of you and the whole world with its endless opportunities is open to you. Make the most out of it, enjoy every single day, don’t live with regrets, don’t open your heart to hatred, self-pity and sorrow. Be open, appreciate small things around you, admire creations of nature, dance with life, smile at the world and the world will smile back at you. Don't look at these people you think are having better life than you. Firstly - this may not be a case as things often look totally different when we look from 'outside', and secondly and most importantly - there always will be someone who is better than you in something, and there is always going to be someone who is worse than you in the same thing. Don't compare yourself with other people. That will only make you unhappy or arrogant. Compare today's yourself with yesterday's you and try to be better every day.
Carpe diem my dearest Atria :-)
