I personally don't like cats in the house as they shed a lot of hair and they scratch furniture and wallpaper. Whiskey is certainly doing it. Unfortunately Anna doesn't mind and in her house she lets the cat to do whatever he wants. I disagree with this and Whiskey knows it well and every time when I come to visit Anna he quickly runs out of the room and jumps in to his sleeping basket pretending he has been there all the time. He looks very innocent then and he behaves like a perfect cat in front of me. He is very clever and he can recognize my footsteps, so when I am approaching the door I can only hear his cat flap opening and the cat is out in his basket at the back of the kitchen. I think my dislike of having animals in the house developed through upbringing and also has its roots in our culture - in Iran we just did not have animals in the house and my parents considered them as unhygienic. I don't think I will ever like to have a pet in the house. I like them and don't have anything against them, but I prefer to see them outdoors. What are your views dear Atria? Do you have a pet? Would you like to have one? If you would what pet would that be? I would probably be ok with a fish :-)
Do you remember my friend Dino? You might have been to little to remember him, but he has been a friend of mine for many years now. We don’t see each other very often, but you know - it doesn’t matter. Every time we meet it is like the time has stopped and like we didn't see each others just for a day or two. We have a lot to talk about and we’re always keen to help one another. I am sure you have some lovely friends and you understand what friendship is about.
You can say that friendship is a relationship when people care about each other. It is a wonderful feeling to have a friend, but friendship also demands time and effort, and it requires that people put someone other than themselves first sometimes. To be true friend with someone you need to be honest, loyal, you need to trust the other person and accept them with all the differences you may have.
So what does a friendship really means? It means understanding, but not necessary agreement. It means forgiveness, not forgetting. It means the memories last, even if contact is lost.
I hope one day you will consider me your friend dear Atria...
I am your dad Atria.
